New Sensation: Dutch EDM festival coming to Las Vegas

The all-white Sensation is coming to Las Vegas this fall.

EDC’s got company—there’s a new electronic dance music festival coming to town. Sensation, an international dance music event launched in Amsterdam in 2000, will come to the MGM Grand Garden Arena October 4 and 5 as part of the festival’s inaugural U.S. tour.

The tour, themed “Ocean of White,” features an all-white dress code and will be right at home in Vegas with top-tier DJs (to be announced), interactive, theatrical set designs (acrobats and giant hovering jellyfish will abound) and plenty of pyrotechnics and laser setups.

Sensation is produced by Dutch EDM event pioneers ID&T and has toured the world with more than 90 shows in 20 countries. Last year’s sold out two-day run at Brooklyn’s Barclay Center helped build momentum for the festival’s upcoming tour in the U.S., which will be co-produced by Coachella behemoths Goldenvoice.

Tickets for Sensation Las Vegas are $153.50 for regular day passes and $253.50 for VIP, and will go on sale this Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and the Sensation website.

Sorry to disappoint the teen raver crowd, but Sensation is strictly 21 and over.
