St. Patrick’s Day is for the Irish, and the Irish at heart. Use it as an excuse to drink green beer or satisfy that corned beef craving. Plan the perfect holiday and don’t forget to designate a driver.

Food specials:

Chocolate & Spice will “go green” with treats in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Enjoy green pannetone ($7), Guinness-infused dark chocolate bars with bacon ($8), green cupcakes ($3.75) and green sugar cookies ($3.50 each or $20 for a box).

Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor goes green in honor of St. Patrick's Day with $5 green food and drink specials all day Sunday. The restaurant puts a Mexican twist on the Irish celebration with $5 cheese quesadillas made with green tortillas and Irish nachos made with crisp-cut ruffle potatoes topped with sour cream, guacamole, diced tomatoes, greens onions, smoked bacon and cheese. Since no St. Patrick's Day party would be complete without green spirits, T&T will serve $5 green domestic beers and $6 signature Top Shelf margaritas made with Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado tequila, organic agave nectar, Grand Marnier and house-made margarita mix.

Paradise Cafe at LVH offers several Irish specialties including corned beef hash and cabbage ($14.95), lamb stew ($13.95), Luck of the Irish cheesecake ($3.95) and Guinness ($4.75).

Trevi offers the Luck of the Irish gelato, a combination of creamy pistachio gelato accompanied by a Pirouette cookie, priced at $4.50 per scoop.

Guests at the MGM Grand Buffet can enjoy corned beef served alongside braised cabbage, red potatoes and baby carrots.

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Carnegie Deli at the Mirage will serve thick cuts of corned beef and cabbage with boiled potatoes, and a Bailey’s Irish Crème cheesecake for dessert.

Lucky Roll at Rice & Co.

Rice & Company offers an alternative to the traditional St. Paddy’s Day feast. The Lucky Roll is filled with crab mix, shrimp, avocado, asparagus, carrot and romaine lettuce wrapped together in cucumber and accented with a spicy plum sauce.

Coronado Café offers an Irish-themed menu in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day featuring an option of Guinness-marinated sirloin steak with two eggs, boxty potato cakes and Irish soda bread in addition to split pea soup or a dinner salad accompanied with traditional corned beef and cabbage paired with broiled potatoes and carrots. This specialty dinner will be available for $8.95 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Garden Buffet features a special St. Patrick’s Day brunch buffet featuring a full Irish breakfast station. Brunch guests will enjoy a selection of traditional Irish à la carte options including corned beef & cabbage, Irish lamb stew, chicken O’Leary and Guinness-braised beef steak. Specialty desserts include a chocolate mint cream pie and complimentary mimosas. The brunch buffet is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $14.85 with a casino club card or $19.95 without a card.

P.J. Clarke’s hosts its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy traditional Irish fare and drinks including corned beef & cabbage with new potatoes and Irish soda bread and stacked corned beef sandwich on rye. P.J. Clarke’s will be raffling off a 2013 Ural-T Sidecar motorcycle to benefit Three Square. P.J. Clarke’s will sell St. Patrick’s T-shirts as a raffle entry to win the 2013 Ural-T Sidecar.

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Rick Moonen’s rm seafood will serve an “RM-style Shepard’s Pie” with Guinness braised short ribs, bay shrimp, brown butter potatoes, english peas, fava beans and tomato raisins. Specialty cocktails include "The Wayward Saint" featuring an Irish blend of roasted coffee bean-infused Jameson Irish Whisky and Amarula cream liqueur, topped with Guinness foam and grated nutmeg.

Feast and Festival Buffets at various Station Casino properties offer Irish specialties with their brunch and dinner menus including corned beef hash, Irish beef stew, shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage, parsley potatoes and whiskey bread pudding.

Grand Cafes at Station Casino properties will offer special a la carte items from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. including classic corned beef brisket and cabbage with parsley potatoes and whole grain mustard and whiskey bread pudding.

Kelly’s Prime Steak and Seafood Restaurant offers a special St. Patrick’s Day menu including green beer, corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, Irish stew with lamb, Irish potato salad, Irish cole slaw, Irish soda bread and Bailey’s crème brulee. Guests can select two menu items, a desert and a green beer for $25.95. Irish whiskey shots will be offered at $3.00.

Social House at Crystals puts a twist on the ever popular St. Patrick’s Day celebration with the Shamrock Social Hour Friday through Sunday from 5-8 p.m. Selections start at $3 and drink specials include half-priced Kappa cocktails and saketini.

White Polenta Pancakes at Lavo

Lavo’s Champagne Brunch celebrates St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a green-themed bash Saturday with sounds by DJ Jason Lema. The daytime party invites guests to “get lucky” as the date also marks the end of brunch’s second season. In honor of the holiday, the afternoon soiree’s signature dishes will “go green” including the almond crusted French toast ($18) with cinnamon, panettone, fresh berries and bananas, lemon ricotta waffles ($19) with glazed apples, dark raisins and whipped yogurt and white polenta pancakes ($17) topped with hazelnut butter and syrup. Drink specials include Bushmills Irish Honey specialty cocktails and Guinness as well as a Guinness open bar from 2-3 p.m.

Parties and drink specials:

The city of Henderson hosts the 47th annual Southern Nevada Sons of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival at the Henderson Events Plaza in the Water Street District. The event features a parade, carnival, car show and authentic Irish entertainment. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, scheduled for Saturday follows the theme of “The Harp & the Shamrock.” The Southern Nevada Sons of Erin group teams up with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, hosting the third annual head shaving fundraiser.

PBR Rock Bar & Grill inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort offers holiday drink specials on March 17. Irish Car Bomb shots are $5 as is green beer.

St. Patrick's Day at Ri Ra.

Rí Rá Las Vegas, located inside the Shoppes at Mandalay Place, celebrates with a two-day St. Patrick’s Day festival. The weekend of festivities will feature live music, giveaways, Irish dancers, authentic Irish menu items and a parade through Mandalay Bay. The festival kicks off on Saturday with live Irish music starting at 2 p.m. The party continues at noon on Sunday with live Irish music followed by a parade through Mandalay Bay and Luxor at 2 p.m., featuring Irish dancers, Rí Rá staff members, a bagpiper and more. On Sunday, Rí Rá will charge $10 cover.

Naked Pool at The Artisan presents the Teenie Weenie Green Bikini Party featuring Top 40 from DJ Dre Dae. Guests can enjoy a bikini contest with prizes, $5 Guinness and $8 Hennessy drinks. There is no cover.

The Gold Spike in downtown Las Vegas celebrates St. Patrick's day all month long with $6 Irish Car Bombs. 

Priced at $35, The Range 702’s “Luck of the Irish” package includes an additional five rounds with a Desert Eagle pistol. Guests can win prizes by hitting a ring on a special leprechaun target. The “Luck of the Irish” package can be purchased as an add-on to any existing shooting package.

Live music will be provided by bands including Searson, a trio of multi-talented sisters who play a variety of instruments and step dance; Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones, featuring the founding member of the legendary Wolfe Tones, Derek Warfield; Emish, know for mixing their style with traditional songs and tunes; and Celtic Connection, a Philadelphia-based band that combines music from a variety of genres with quick-witted interaction and great Irish songs.

Diners cam enjoy traditional Irish fare, including Corned Beef & Cabbage ($15.95), Publicans Reuben ($13.95), Fish & Chips ($16.95), Shepherd’s Pie ($15.95) and Beef and Guinness Stew ($15.95).

Crazy Horse III lets guests get lucky with Irish-inspired shots of Jameson for $5 before midnight on Sunday.

The Cosmopolitan welcomes Flogging Molly with special guest Mariachi El Bronx to the Boulevard Pool. The band infuses punk rock with Celtic instruments like violin, mandolin and the accordion.

Ghostbar hosts a special St. Paddy's Day Edition of GBDC, which will be on a Sunday for this one-time event. Enjoy a Miller Lite hosted bar form 1-2 p.m., green champagne and sexy leprechauns.

Drink specials and a DJ will be on hand for the first St. Patrick's Day celebration at the Fat Bar. Enjoy a DJ from 7 p.m. to midnight plus $3 green beer, $5 Guinness draft, $5 Jameson shots and $7 Irish Car Bomb.

The producers of the "World's Largest PubCrawl" offer a St. Patrick's Day edition. Guests will be able to participate in three different pub crawls occurring over the course of three days. The Silverton invites guests to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day with a deal and a day of partying. For $30, guests will receive an all you can drink wristband valid at all casino bars from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Drink specials include: Green PBR, Kilbeggan Irish whiskey, Murphy’s Irish Stout, well cocktails and Irish car bombs. Japonais offers St. Patrick’s Day cocktails including the Shiso Cherry made with Jameson’s Irish Whiskey, cherry juice, simple syrup, soda water and appropriately garnished with emerald green candied shishos.

The Café at Monte Carlo offers traditional Irish Stew including lamb, baby carrots, potatoes, parsnips, leaks and onion served with the flavors of Irish soda bread.

The Pub at Monte Carlo is calling all Irish and Irish-loving folk to toast in celebration with several drink specials including Irish beers, Jameson shots and Irish Car Bombs. Traditional a la carte bites will include Irish nachos, Ruben sliders, Guinness stew and corned beef and cabbage.

The Buffet at Monte Carlo will showcase a wide variety of St. Patrick’s Day treats. Some specialty items will include Colcannon soup, Irish pub lamb stew, shepherd’s pie, crème de menthe cupcakes, shamrock cookies and chocolate fudge mint brownies.

Celtic Feis at NYNY

New York-New York will celebrate Celtic Feis, a traditional Gaelic arts and cultural festival, inside Nine Fine Irishmen and on the Brooklyn Bridge Friday-Sunday. The St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Feis Parade, featuring bagpipers from Desert Sky Pipe Band and firefighters from around the country, will commence Friday 7 p.m. inside the casino. The festival will continue inside Nine Fine Irishmen with live entertainment and a special menu of authentic Irish fare including fried sausages, shepherd’s pie, corned beef sandwich, fish and chips and drunken onion rings.

Throughout the holiday weekend, guests may enjoy entertainment by Patrick Seiben, Sin É Rí - Ra, Limey Barstewarts, Joshua Tree and Michael Bowman. Tickets to the St. Patrick’s Day festival are $25 daily and include admission to the day’s events and one complimentary drink. All guests 21 years of age or older wearing a kilt on St. Paddy's Day will receive complimentary admission to Celtic Feis and the Bar at Times Square.

Dick’s Last Resort offers St. Patrick’s Day specials including Jameson, green Jello shots, Miller Lite and three Absolut Vodka drinks – The Patty Dropper, Nutty Irishman and Green Drink.

Circus Circus offers holiday food and beverage specials including green drafts at Rock ‘n Rita’s with a two-for-one green Bud Light special and an authentic corned beef and cabbage dinner offered from 2-11 p.m.

Cabo Wabo Cantina inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood will celebrate a Baja-style St. Patrick’s Day with food and drink specials including green Waboritas for $4. Enjoy live music and a DJ plus $4 green beers and $4 shots of Cabo Wabo tequila. Food specials include two tacos for $5 with a choice of chicken, beef or pork.

Quinn’s Irish Pub at Green Valley Ranch offers music from Darby O’Gill & the Little People from 10 p.m.- 2 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day.

Jack’s at Palace Station offers music from Nick Mattera from 6 p.m. and from Finnegans Wake from 7-11 p.m. There is no cover charge.

Senor Frog’s Las Vegas offers drink specials from Friday- Sunday. Enjoy $19 two-for-one green draft beer yards, $26 two-for-one “Lucky” green margarita yards, $8 Guinness draft beers and $12 Irish Car Bomb shots.

Public House Las Vegas offers food and drink specials, as well as live coverage of Selection Sunday. The ladies of “Fantasy” will also stop by from 2 to 3 p.m. for a meet and greet and calendar signing. Traditional Irish food specials include potato and cheddar soup, shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage and fish & chips. Drink specials include:

• 9 to 10 a.m. - $3 Guinness, Blue Moon and Coors Light

CollectiveZoo.com is hosting its second annual St. Patty’s Day Bar Crawl in Downtown Las Vegas. The night will start with bus transportation from all corners of the valley to the El Cortez. There will be a social media scavenger hunt throughout the tour for prizes. Requirements such as check-ins and tagging via social media are built into the scavenger hunt, so don’t forget your smart phones. The event is $20 without transportation and $30 with and includes drink specials at Commonwealth, Hennessey’s, Radio City Pizza and Triple B’s.

Rhumbar offers an Emerald Isle celebration as a DJ takes over the turntables at 3 p.m. Drink specials include$4 green beers, $5 Guinness and Black and Tans, $3 shots of Jameson Irish Whiskey and Bailey’s Irish Cream and $6 Irish Car Bombs. A variety of hookah flavors also will be available in festive flavors inspired by the color green including Apple Martini, Safari Dew Melon, Spearmint and Irish Cream.

J.C. Wooloughan’s Irish Pub offers food & drink specials, traditional Irish bagpipers & dancers plus live music. The party starts Thursday-Saturday with a special happy hour from 3-6 p.m. featuring $5 deals on Irish appetizers and half off Irish draft beer. At 7 p.m. enjoy music from Mullaney. On Sunday, the party starts at noon with Irish band Mrs. Murphy’s Chowder, followed by Irish dancers, bagpipers and solo artis John Gannon. At 7:15, Mullaney performs. Music begins outside at 3 p.m. The Guinness Girls and the Jameson Girls will be on hand doling out Irish-themed swag.

McMullan’s hosts a Grand Irish Festival Friday to Sunday featuring live Irish music and dancers on two stages from 5:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Friday, 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday and from 2 p.m to midnight on St. Patrick’s Day. Performers include the Celtic Crown Dancers, Irish dancer Sharon Lynn, Darby O’Gill and the Little People, Beeswing, Bogtrotter’s Union, Kings of Kenmare and John Windsor. Entrance to the festival is free on both Friday and Saturday and $20 on St Patrick’s Day.

St. Patrick’s Day specials at Dick’s Last Resort offers $5 cocktails like the Nutty Irishman, the Green Drink and the Patty Dropper. Specialty shots are $7 and Jell-O shots are $1. Beer specials include 2-for-1 Miller Lite drafts for $7 and 24 oz. Miller Lite cans for $5.

Fremont Street Experience offers the fifth annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl with music from Finnegan’s Wake, Darby O’Gill and the Little People, Tempest, Whiskey Galore, 1916 and the Wild Celts. Guests who RSVP can check in to pick up wristbands and validate parking near the Fremont Street Experience garage elevators between 1-6 p.m. The first 400 people to check in receive a free Pub Crawl t-shirt. Special offers will be available at various downtown locations including Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, The D Las Vegas, Fremont Casino, Binion’s Gambling Hall, Four Queens Hotel & Casino.
