Blink-182, Ne-Yo, Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains and more announce Vegas shows

It’s a good day for fans of hard rock in Las Vegas, with a slate of heavy hitters in the genre dominating this week’s slate of upcoming local show announcements.

Embattled grunge legends Alice in Chains will play the Pearl at the Palms on Saturday, October 26, touring behind their upcoming album The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. Tickets start at $90 and go on sale this Friday, May 17 at noon via the Pearl Box Office and Ticketmaster.

Ozzy Osbourne may have just checked into rehab, but hopefully that won’t interfere with his upcoming gig with Black Sabbath on Sunday, September 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Ticket prices range from $39.50 to $129.50 and are currently on sale through Ticketmaster.

Blink-182 will return to the Cosmopolitan as part of the resort’s Set Your Life to Music series with a show at the Boulevard Pool on Thursday, September 19. Pop-punkers New Beat Fund will open. Tickets cost $60 and are currently on sale via the Cosmopolitan website and Ticketmaster.

Also coming to the Boulevard Pool is Las Vegas’ own R&B hero Ne-Yo, who will perform on Friday, June 28. Tickets to see the three-time Grammy winner go on sale this Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. via the Cosmopolitan website and Ticketmaster.

The mayor of Margaritaville himself, Jimmy Buffett, will return to Las Vegas with his Coral Reefer Band for a pair of shows on Saturday, October 19 and Saturday, October 26. at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Tickets for the shows, part of his “Songs From St. Somewhere” tour, range from $39.00 to $211.00 and go on sale Monday, May 20 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

British hard rock vets The Cult will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their defining album Electric with a show at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on Friday, September 6. The group will play the record in full as well as a second set of other songs. Tickets cost $35 and go on sale Wednesday, May 15 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and the House of Blues website.

Monster Energy’s Rock Allegiance Tour will make a stop at the Joint at the Hard Rock on Wednesday, September 4 for a night of international hard rock, featuring HIM, Volbeat, All That Remains and Airbourne. Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and the Hard Rock Box Office.

Southern heavy metal boys Baroness will play Downtown’s Backstage Bar and Billiards on Wednesday, August 28 with openers Royal Thunder. Tickets range from $18 to $21 and go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. through Baroness’ Ticketfly page.
