Disclosure cancels Vegas show due to … back problems?

We’ve heard lots of excuses for canceling shows—wretched hangovers, total apathy, the dog ate our sheet music—but back problems?

Yes. English electronic duo Disclosure—brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence—announced on Facebook last night that they’d be postponing tonight’s Brooklyn Bowl gig due to a “trapped” nerve in 20-year-old Howard’s back.

"Las Vegas, very sorry to announce, but Howard has only gone and got himself a trapped nerve in his back and is unable to move, stand let alone play. He is in a lot of pain poor lad. Tomorrow's show at Brooklyn Bowl will therefore be postponed until 6th August as I can't do it without him!

"Tonight's WILDLIFE DJ set in LA, Club Nokia will still be going ahead, as I can just about handle that one myself and as Howard would tell you... I'm the superior DJ anyway lolz

"So sorry again Vegas! Hope you still want to come and see us at the later date. Anyone who can't or just doesn't want to can receive a full refund. Original tickets will still be valid at the postponed date."

No word yet on whether the duo will go on as scheduled for their Sunday night set at Coachella this weekend. In the meantime, may we suggest alternating heat and cold—and if that doesn’t work, backiotomy.
