It's Coachella time again!

Okay, not really; the 2014 fest hasn't been over for a month yet, after all. But if you plan to attend the 2015 edition, it's time to start making plans. Advanced sales for both weekends—April 10-21 and April 17-19—begin this Friday, May 16, at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

Springing for passes Friday means doing so before a single participating act has been announced. It also guarantees you a spot at a festival that has sold out of wristbands in quick order during its regular on-sale the past several years.

General admission passes will sell for $375, fees included. VIP passes ($799), shuttle passes ($60-$80), car and tent camping spots ($85) and a variety of deluxe camping options will also go on sale on Friday.

Coachella will also offer its traditional payment plan to early purchasers, with 20 percent due up front, followed by installments the first week of each month from July through December.
