Concert on-sales: The Killers and a slew of Downtown shows

As previously announced, The Killers will return to the Strip on February 3, when the Vegas band will play its first headlining show at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Tickets ranging from $35 to $95 go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, August 11 at axs.com, but fans can snap them up from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, August 10 if they use the presale code AXSKILLERS (among other presale opportunities).

Metalcore band I Prevail is due to the Brooklyn Bowl on November 15, with We Came as Romans, The Word Alive and Vegas-born Escape the Fate in tow. Tickets range from $24 to $27 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, August 11 at ticketfly.com.

R&B veteran Freddie “You Are My Lady” Jackson is set to play Texas Station’s Dallas Events Center on September 29. Tickets range from $20 to $50 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, August 11 at ticketmaster.com.

Hip-hop duo $uicideboy$ will perform at House of Blues on November 17. Tickets range from $25 to $28 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, August 11 at livenation.com. Also just announced—and already on sale—is rock en Español band Molotov; tickets for its November 22 show are range from $26 to $35.

Afro-cuban/jazz pianist Omar Sosa plays the Smith Center’s Cabaret Jazz venue October 13-14. Tickets range from $45 to $75 and are on sale at thesmithcenter.com.

Punk legends The Dead Boys mark their 40th anniversary with a Beauty Bar show on November 9. Tickets are $15 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, August 11 at ticketbat.com.

Several new additions to the Downtown concert calendar are already on sale. Also at the Beauty Bar: local DJ act Caked Up (September 4; $20-$25), synth metal act Dance With the Dead (October 9; $15), experimental hip-hop act Dalek (October 12; $12), The Body sludge metal act The Body (October 21; $8-$10) and Greek punk act Barb Wire Dolls, who will be joined by Russian act Svetlanas and South Korean band 57 (November 22; $12-$15). Over at the Bunkhouse: singer/songwriter Hanni El Khatib (August 31; $12-$15), indie group Tera Melos (October 12; $10-$15), punk rawkers The Bronx (with Plague Vendor and ‘68; October 18; $15) and, playing the outdoor stage, veteran rockers Guided By Voices (October 27; $30-$35). And, lastly, Backstage Bar & Billiards will host Guana Batz (with Gamblers Mark; August 26; $15-$18). Tickets for Bunkhouse and Backstage shows are available at Ticketfly.
