Concert on-sales: Las Rageous fest, Shamir, Mary Lambert and more

Shamir shares new ‘Revelations’

Former Southern Nevadan Shamir has played some pretty big local gigs in the past couple of years—he was T-Mobile Arena’s very first performer—but the singer-songwriter may truly come of age on February 23. That’s when he headlines his first 21-and-up Vegas show, at a venue that befits his newer, more intimate sound: Downtown's Bunkhouse Saloon. Tickets cost $15 in advance ($18 day of show) and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, December 8 at ticketfly.com.

Also going on sale Friday for the Bunkhouse: Kaki King (February 2; $10), Missio (March 26; $15) and Ty Segall (April 3; $15). An April 16 date for The Soft Moon is already on sale ($10).

Downtown hard rock festival Las Rageous did so well during this year’s debut, it’s returning to Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on April 20 & 21, this time featuring A Perfect Circle, Judas Priest, Ghost, locals Five Finger Death Punch and Adelita’s Way plus numerous others. Tickets run from $110 to $458 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, December 8 at ticketmaster.com.

The Venetian has signed a new headliner to an extended run of dates: Earth, Wind & Fire. The veteranR&B/funk act will play Venetian Theatre May 2, 4, 5, 9, 11 and 12, with $60-$300 tickets going on sale 10 a.m. Friday, December 8 at Ticketmaster.

Jeff Gutt will play Las Vegas for the very first time as Stone Temple Pilots’ new singer on March 9 at House of Blues. Tickets range from $33 to $39 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, December 8 at livenation.com.

Beauty Bar has three notable booking announcements this week: Mary Lambert (January 26; $15), She Wants Revenge (February 23; $20) and Earthless (March 7; $20) with openers Kikagaku Moyo and JJUUJJUU. Tickets for all three shows go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, December 8 at ticketbat.com.

Latin superstar Juanes returns to the Pearl on May 19. Tickets range from $60 to $150 and go on sale Friday, December 8 at Ticketmaster.com.

Brooklyn Bowl has also announced some bookings: Saqi (December 23; $15) and Senses Fail with Reggie and the Full Effect and others (March 31; $18). Both shows go on sale Friday, December 8 at Ticketfly. Also: The venue is offering free admission to first responders, police officers and hospital staffers for the December 9 Corey Smith show (visit bkbwl.co/CoreySmith for details).

Finally, two comedy giants also have shows going on sale Friday. Mel Brooks returns to the Wynn for another pair of shows at the Encore Theater. He’ll play April 27 and 28, with tickets ranging from $125 to $250 available at wynnlasvegas.com. And Jim Gaffigan is also playing venue favorites, as he’ll once again take to the Colosseum stage on May 27 and July 20. Tickets range from $55 to $100 and go on sale noon Friday, December 8 at axs.com.
