Concert on-sales: Route 91, J. Cole, Bon Iver, Pixies and more

September 29-October 1, the Route 91 Harvest Festival returns for its fourth run around Route 91. (You might know that dusty old trail by its newer moniker, Las Vegas Boulevard.) The outdoor Strip venue, Las Vegas Village, will host three days of country music’s biggest stars. Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Sam Hunt headline a bill that also includes Big & Rich, Lauren Alaina, Lee Brice, Brothers Osborne and Maren Morris. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 3 at Rt91Harvest.com.

Speaking of multi-day musical extravaganzas, the Academy of Country Music brings a medley of ACM Party for a Cause events to a variety of venues March 30 through April 2 as part of 52nd ACM awards. The events benefit ACM Lifting Lives, a charity that "works to lift lives through the power of music." Tickets are on sale now, along with schedule and individual event pricing info, at partyforacause.com.

Chris Brown is hosting a May 20 party at MGM Grand Garden Arena, and his guests include 50 Cent, French Montana, Fabolous, O.T. Genasis, Kap G and thousands of his closest friends. If that means you, grab up your tickets February 25 at 10 a.m. ($40-$250) through axs.com.

Speaking of wild parties, the “No. 1 Kids’ Music Brand” brings its Best Time Ever tour to the Cox Pavilion on June 11. Think, for the rest of their lives, your children will have to answer "Kidz Bop" to the perennial ice breaker: What was your first concert? Platinum chart-topper J. Cole brings his 4 Your Eyez Only tour to MGM Grand Garden Arena on July 8. Tickets cost $29.50-$125.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. February 24 at Ticketmaster.com.

If you’re in the mood for melancholy, indie-folk favorite Bon Iver plays the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel on April 13. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. February 23 at axs.com).

Venerable alt-rockers the Pixies—with support from 26-year-old singer/songwriter Mitski—play the the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan on October 21. Tickets ($25-$55) go on sale February 24 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com.

We’ve got “something to believe in.” Young the Giant brings its Home of the Strange tour to the Pearl at the Palms on August 18. Tickets cost $25-$55 and go on sale February 24 at 10 a.m. through TicketMaster.com or at any Station Casino Rewards Center.

Outlaw country spawn Shooter Jennings (son of Waylon) will play Hard Rock’s Vinyl on July 14. Tickets are $25-$39 and go on sale February 24 at 10 a.m.

Brooklyn Bowl is bringing the reggae with bands Katchafire (9 p.m. April 6, $25 and up), Toots & Maytals (9 p.m. April 15, $30 and up), and the The Black Seeds (8 p.m. June 24, $12 and up).
