Concert on-sales: The Weeknd, Run the Jewels, Andrew W.K. and more

R&B megastar The Weeknd has swiftly climbed the Strip venue ladder, going from Drai’s rooftop Beachclub and Nightclub to the Chelsea to, now, T-Mobile Arena, where he’ll perform on October 14. Tickets range from $40 to $176 and go on sale Friday, June 16 at 11 a.m. at axs.com.

Politically conscious hip-hop duo Run the Jewels make its Strip debut at Brooklyn Bowl on October 20 (with rapper Denzel Curry in tow). Tickets range from $35 to $55 and go on sale Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at ticketfly.com.

Also hitting Brooklyn Bowl in the upcoming months (and also on sale Friday at AXS): Andrew W.K., foregoing the DJ booth and the spoken-word format for an actual band gig on October 30 ($20-$22); ascendant Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti with Young Nudy and Pierre Bourne on July 19 ($25-$30); and indie pop faves The Drums with Hoops on December 14 ($17-$20).

Canadian indie pop duo Tegan and Sara are stoking nostalgia with its fall tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Con album, which will be played in full and acoustically on October 21 at the Pearl. Tickets range from $40 to $80 and go on sale Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com. Also headed to the Pearl and on sale Friday: CNN talking head Van Jones’ We Rise tour, which will feature a gathering of public figures and speakers addressing economic inequalities and how to bring about social change. It takes place August 19, with tickets ranging from $25 to $75.

Orleans Arena has booked another throwback package show: KKLZ 96.3-FM’s Super Summer Bash, with Boy George headlining and fellow 1980s-era acts The Romantics, Tiffany, Tommy Tutone, Nu Shooz and When in Rome U.K.’s Clive Farrington and Andrew Mann. Tickets for the August 25 event range from $39 to $149 and go on sale Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.

Punk stalwarts Swingin’ Utters return to Las Vegas with a gig at Beauty Bar on August 16. Tickets range from $12 to $15 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, June 16 at ticketbat.com. And just up the street at Fremont Country Club, Chicano Batman makes up a canceled March gig with a show on November 3, also featuring Khruangbin and with tickets ranging from $15 to $20 and going on sale 10 a.m. Friday, June 16 at Ticketfly.
