Concert on-sales: The National, Bruno Mars and Cosmopolitan’s NFR shows

Indie favorite The National will finally make its Las Vegas debut. The NYC-by-way-of-Cincinnati quintet—which will release its seventh album, Sleep Well Beast, on Friday—plays the Joint on January 20, with tickets ranging from $55 to $125 going on sale 10 a.m. Friday at axs.com.

Bruno Mars, who resumed his Park Theater residency last weekend, adds dates to that run. The “That’s What I Like” singer is set to perform his second New Year’s Eve weekend at the venue, December 30 and 31, and also February 14, 16-17 and 19, 2018. Tickets beginning at $100 go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com.

National Finals Rodeo host property Cosmopolitan will host a slew of country performances during the 10-day rodeo juggernaut. They include Cole Swindell (December 8; $29-$59), Dustin Lynch and Ryan Hurd (December 10; $29-$59), Dwight Yoakam (December 13; $29-$69) and Dierks Bentley (December 15 and 16; $49-$79), all to be staged at the Chelsea. Tickets are available for the Lynch show; the remainder go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.

Also due to the Chelsea: 2010 America’s Got Talent contestant Lindsey Stirling, performing a Christmas-themed show on December 22. Tickets begin at $30 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.

The very raucous—and very free—Life is Sh*t festival returns to Dive Bar on September 23. Recently announced participants include NYC-based headliner Hamell on Trial, New Zealand’s Magic Factor, reuniting Vegas-born acts Dude City and Dangerboner, and local act Indigo Kidd.

The Moody Blues sign on for their second Vegas residency, January 26-27 and January 30-31, this time at Wynn Las Vegas. Tickets ranging from $60 to $275 go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at wynnlasvegas.com.

Also going on sale 10 a.m. Friday: An October 24 acoustic show by rock outfit Breaking Benjamin at House of Blues (tickets beginning at $40 on sale at livenation.com); Jamaican musician Shaggy at Brooklyn Bowl on December 3 (tickets ranging from $28 to $45 at ticketfly.com); and Youtube star Markiplier at the Joint (tickets ranging from $37 to $125 on sale at AXS).

Currently on sale: NYC noise act Unsane at Beauty Bar on November 29 ($13 tickets on sale at ticketbat.com) and local rawk group Delta Bombers at Bunkhouse on November 10 ($13 tickets on sale at Ticketfly).
