Psycho Las Vegas has revealed its first handful of 2020 bands, and already the festival's fifth local edition appears filled with promise for fans of heavy metal and psychedelic music.
The first wave of acts: garage-rocker Ty Segall & The Freedom Band; notorious Norwegian black metal outfit Mayhem; beloved New York noise-rock trio Blonde Redhead; experimental Norwegian group Ulver; Virginia doom metal fave Windhand; Icelandic synth-punks Kaelan Mikla; and Argentinian heavy psych band Mephistofeles.
Scheduled for August 14-16—with a Psycho Swim pre-party on August 13—Psycho Las Vegas will rock Mandalay Bay for a second straight summer after three years at the Hard Rock Hotel. Previous performers have included Electric Wizard, The Original Misfits, Alice Cooper, Opeth, Neurosis, Sleep, King Diamond, Mastodon, Danzig, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Dimmu Borgir.
