Having previously postponed its 2020 festival, Las Vegas' Punk Rock Bowling festival announced today that its next edition will take place in 2021.
"After much deliberation and in an abundance of caution, we are sorry to inform everyone that we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Punk Rock Bowling Tournament & Music Festival until 2021," founders Mark and Shawn Stern said in a statement. "The current coronavirus pandemic's rapid acceleration is a clear and ongoing threat to everyone, and we feel it’s in the best interest of the fans, bands, and all of our wonderful staff and partners that we do not risk anyone’s health."
The event will take place from May 28-31, 2021. Ticket holders can apply their passes to next year's event or opt to receive full refunds.
The 2020 festival, originally scheduled for May 21-25 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center and nearby club venues, was to have been headlined by Madness, Circle Jerks and Cock Sparrer, with Buzzcocks, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Streetlight Manifesto, Lunachicks, Menzingers, Television, Andrew W.K. and Mariachi El Bronx among the acts also on the bill.
