If you call yourself an art aficionado, there’s one place to be this weekend: ARTrageous Vegas. The celebration of all types of creativity returns to the Cosmopolitan July 28 for its third annual installment. Local artists of varying art forms—visual, burlesque and more—will show their stuff, and proceeds will benefit the Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada.

Attendees curate their own ARTrageous experiences, as seven “salons” complement the main stage. A juried art show will be exhibited in the Salon d’Art, with second-hand submissions displayed in the Salon de Rageous (among those exhibiting: Brent Holmes and 3 Baaad Sheep). Fashionistas will be in their element in the Salon de Fashion and during two fashion shows (one will feature local designers, the other Cosmopolitan boutiques).

In need of a laugh? Check out Salon de Improv, where the audience is part of the show. Catch performances by Recycled Percussion and more in the Salon de Musique. Or get in on the raffle action in the Salon de Chance. Completing the list is the Salon de Right Amount of Wrong, where body painting will be exhibited in tribute to the host hotel’s catchy slogan.
