Hometown hero and tennis legend Andre Agassi’s annual Grand Slam dinner and concert benefiting his Andre Agassi Foundation for Education features the star power of Sir Elton John, Jason Mraz, Rob Thomas, Jennifer Hudson and The Canadian Tenors under the direction of David Foster tomorrow night at the Wynn.

But in case you’re not on the guest list for the invitation-only fundraiser, which has raised more than $85 million since 1995, there is plenty else going on in the Entertainment Capital of the World this weekend.

Friday, Oct. 8

Talk show titan Jerry Springer presents the Top 10 finalists of Season 5 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, including $1 million winner and hometown hero Michael Grimm and 10-year-old opera dynamo Jackie Evancho.

On June 17, 2010, Wayne Brady's wax figure was unveiled, and the actor and comedian returned to The Venetian.

It’s literally a laugh riot, with comedians Wayne Brady, Kevin Hart, Sinbad and Ralphy May all fighting for audiences. Brady is at Planet Hollywood for two nights (check out his interview with Vegas DeLuxe posted yesterday in which he talks about performing in Rent and being a Gleek), Hart at The Mirage for two nights, Sinbad at Treasure Island in kicking off the fall comedy series and May at South Point through Sunday.

Motown legends The Temptations are at The Orleans through Sunday. How great would it be for Imperial Palace headliners Human Nature to share the stage with them for a few numbers? Pepe Aguilar and Jenni Rivera are at Planet Hollywood’s Theater for the Performing Arts, Expose is at Henderson Pavilion and Maze and Frankie Beverly are at the Las Vegas Hilton for two nights.

This is the 70th birthday weekend of John Lennon, and there’s a Beatles tribute by The Fab at the Cannery. Hip-hop mogul Jermaine Dupri, Janet Jackson’s ex, is the guest DJ at Rain in the Palms, filling in for DJ Z-Trip and his Revolution. Peepshow and Holly’s World star Holly Madison taps the keg at Hofbrauhaus for Oktoberfest.

Saturday, Oct. 9

Comedian, Deal or No Deal host and America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel somehow finds some free time for standup at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm. Creed frontman Scott Stapp will have his “Arms Wide Open” at Red Rock Resort, Patty Loveless is at Santa Fe Station, and The Rippingtons and Russ Freeman are at Sunset Station.

The MMA Explosion at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel features Aaron Brink, Scott Junk, Blagoy Ivanov and newcomer Vitor Vianna, plus fighters from the U.S. and Kazakhstan compete in title matches. The World Stars of Magic at Suncoast for two nights features Mel Mellers, Mark Rafflkes, Jason Andrews, Sonny Fontana, Aaron Sparks and Nathalie Enterline.

Playboy Radio host Jessica Hall, who is featured in this month’s Playboy, hosts at Pure in Caesars Palace, and adult turned Entourage star Sasha Grey hosts at The Playboy Club in the Palms.

It’s 10/10/10, and at 10:10 a.m., Flamingo headliner Donny Osmond presides over 10 couples who will become engaged at the Trevi Fountain inside The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Mr. Vegas DeLuxe Robin Leach will tweet from the romantic gathering that includes a champagne toast and ring consultations at Tiffany.

Singer Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes and “Billionaire” fame hosts chef Geno Bernardo’s Daylife brunch and party at Nove Italiano in the Palms. Actress Tiffany Thiessen, star of USA’s White Collar, and her designer friend Lonni Paul launch Petit Nest, infant and children’s room furnishings, at Azure Luxury Pool in the Palazzo.

Eva Longoria Parker hosts at her nightclub Eve on Wednesday and unveils her Madame Tussauds wax figure. Comedienne Wanda Sykes is at Planet Hollywood on Friday and Saturday, and we’ll post our interview with her next week. Kim Kardashian celebrates her birthday at Tao in The Venetian on Friday. David Foster & Friends, with an incredible lineup that includes Ne-Yo, Seal, Donna Summer, Natalie Cole, Michael Bolton, Earth, Wind and Fire, Kenny Loggins, Martina McBride, Charice and Chaka Khan, is at Mandalay Bay Events Center on Friday. Deadmau5 is at the resurrected Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel.
