Singer and songwriter Dev celebrated her debut album “The Night the Sun Came Up” by hosting and performing at Pure in Caesars Palace on Saturday night. Arriving after midnight, California native Dev, full name Devin Star Tailes, posed for photographs on the red carpet in a sleeveless red floral top and daring, high-waisted super-short shorts and was joined by her personal DJ, Sour Milk.
The tattooed singer partied with a group of eight friends at her VIP booth on the main stage and enjoyed white wine before her performance. About 1 a.m., DJ Sour Milk hopped on the mic to get the crowd ready for Dev: “Pure Nightclub! We have Dev in the house!” Taking his place in the DJ booth, he began to spin the wheels of steel as Dev approached partygoers, posed for photographs with fans and reached out for high-fives.
Her set included “Bass Down Low,” “Like a G6,” “Dancing in the Dark” and her new single “Naked” with Enrique Iglesias. At one point, she grabbed a fan’s cell phone and recorded herself singing. “Let me hear you scream!” she yelled, and the nightclub crowd roared.
During her performance, Dev also shared with fans Corona and her glass of wine and sprayed the dance floor with water. She closed her set and said, “I love you, Vegas, have a good time!” Thanks to Erik Kabik for his photo gallery of Dev partying at Pure.
