Following today’s news of the passing of legendary TV producer Dick Clark, Fremont Street Experience has announced that it will host a tribute in his memory tonight.
The event will include a pictorial retrospective of the “American Bandstand” host’s life and career broadcast on the Viva Vision canopy screen. The retrospective will include photos and possibly filmed footage of Clark played in tandem with the “American Bandstand” theme song.
Fremont Street Experience has hosted similar tribute retrospectives in the past honoring the memory of icons including Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Tony Curtis.
Tonight’s event will be held from 8 to 11 by the Viva Vision screen.
