The one time I went sailing, I remember feeling sick. So my dad gave me some motion sickness pills and I fell asleep. For years, I was pissed that I never really got to see the sunset on the Pacific, but it sure beat puking off the side of a boat.

What any of this has to do with PDX dance superheroes/maritime enthusiasts YACHT—and in their impressively acrobatic closing show on Neon Reverb’s opening night at the Beauty Bar—is irrelevant, mainly because I didn't fall asleep or puke. Regardless, Jonah Bechtolt and Claire Evans’ assault on 2:30 a.m. tiredness was an impressive one. Their speaker scaling crowd engagement was enough to make you stop wishing you were in bed, even if you had to wake up for work in a couple of hours.
