Pan De Sal knows how to party.

The electro-dance trio brought more than just their staple black-and-white stripes to Beauty Bar on Saturday. They brought more of the goodies that make their shows so much fun to watch. We took inventory:

1) Tambourines, which were passed out to the front-row audience to shake along.

2) Fog machine, which acted as a nice mood-setter for the coordinated dancing.

3) Break-dancing moves courtesy of Sheila Hall and Jeff Madlambayan, who spun around on the floor interchangeably during a break in a song.

But better than the props were the two occasions when the crowd was invited to rush the stage and dance along with the striped ensemble. The participating audience included Kid Meets Cougar’s Courtney Carroll and Brett Bolton, who had opened the Reverb showcase earlier in the night.

The occasion also allowed for Pan De Sal to debut two brand new songs, “Lady Justice” and “Tots” — as in tots my goats. “One’s about love and the other is about a fictional bike gang we have,” explained Madlambayan.
