MMA fever reached epidemic levels in Las Vegas this weekend as UFC 100 overtook Mandalay Bay and hordes of fighters and fans flocked to town for the centennial event.

The festivities got underway on Friday with an afternoon pool party at Tao Beach hosted by MMA fighters Chuck Liddell, Ryan Bader and Jens Pulver.

Fellow brawlers Aaron Simpson, Noah Thomas, Eric Lawson and Bill Smallwood also came out for a little fun in the rooftop sun.

Later that night, UFC president Dana White partied one floor down at Tao nightclub. Joined by a small group of friends, White was said to have spent the night sipping on Grey Goose vodka and cranberry cocktails.

The MMA party continued next door, at Lavo, as Tito Ortiz partied with XXX film starlet Jenna Jameson. Ortiz and his other friends drank Grey Goose L’Orange and soda while Jameson sipped Veuve Clicquot and showed off her very adult assets with black leather pants and a pink t-shirt,

Thiago Alves also celebrated UFC 100 eve and hosted a pre-fight night party at Privé.

In NBA Summer League after hours action, L.A. Laker Trevor Ariza celebrated his birthday on Friday in true Vegas style at Jet while Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and a group of friends kicked back at MGM Grand’s Tabu Ultra Lounge.

Meanwhile, Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden took to the turntables at the Palms and gave Rain’s Friday night resident DJ, DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein), the night off.

Citque du Soleil’s Beatles-themed spectacular, Love, got a star-studded kick-off to the weekend, with Ryan Philippe, Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan all spotted among the audience at the Mirage.

While Phillippe took in the 9:30 p.m. performance, hotter-than-hot couple Lilly and Monaghan attended the 7 p.m. show, along with Monaghan’s parents who were visiting from England.

The couple continued their Cirque streak on Saturday with O at the Bellagio.

Blazed and Confused Tour @ Primm

Also on Friday, Snoop Dogg put in an appearance out in Primm as he brought his Blazed and Confused tour to the Star of the Desert Arena. Stephen Marley, Mickey Avalon and Slightly Stoopid joined him for the Friday night fun just east of the California state line.

While Snoop was busy droppin’ rhymes in Primm, the music continued back in Vegas as Duran Duran played the Pearl; rapper Jadakiss performed at LAX; Pat Benatar took to the stage at the House of Blues; Mya hosted a party at Pure; and The Roots performed poolside at Friday Night Live.

Flava Flav put in a surprise appearance that night and joined the Roots onstage at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Earlier that afternoon, Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon was spotted with a friend as he enjoyed lunch at Simon. The entire band broke bread together later that night and enjoyed dinner in the private dining room at Nove Ialiano.

Their post-concert meal involved 18 musicians and friends, including Kids in the Hall comedian Dave Foley. The large party later moved to Playboy Club once they finished their dinner.

Other familiar faces at the club that night included MMA fighter Diego Sanchez and actor-model Greg Vaughan, who was also spotted partying over at Moon.

Also at the Palms on Friday was Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil, who had dinner with his wife at N9NE Steakhouse.

MMA fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and NBA player Ovinton Mayo were also seen in the N9NE dining room that night.

Jackson was joined by six friends and ordered Morty’s lemon chicken accompanied by grilled asparagus and George’s creamed corn for his meal. Mayo, meanwhile, dined with three others who shared the rock shrimp appetizer before Mayo tucked into a petit filet for his main course.

Finally on Friday, former Playboy model-turned-DJ, Roxanne Dawn, took her turn at the turntables at Hawaiian Tropic Zone during the ultra lounge’s UFC 100 weekend kick-off party.

Dawn returned to HTZ the following night to toast her birthday with fellow former Playboy model, Sarah Jelly. Adding to the sexy post-100 fun that night was UFC octagon girl Arianny Celeste.

Meanwhile, Chuck Liddell hosted an after-fight party of his own at Planet Hollywood, in the so-called Playing Field Lounge. Unsurprisingly, MMA fan and guest octagon girl Holly Madison stopped by after wrapping things up at Peepshow.

Upstairs at Privé, Rolling Stone magazine, Cagefighter and 944 magazine threw what they had promoted as “the hottest post fight party on the Strip.”

Also at Planet Hollywood on Saturday, Michael Clarke Duncan and Michael Strahan had dinner at Strip House.

Over at Tao, meanwhile, Tapout co-owner “Skyskrape” hosted a post-fight party that included John “Magician” Dodson and Ultimate Fighter season eight champion Efrain Escudero.

Also spotted at Tao on Saturday: Transporter star Jason Statham, who was in town for a friend’s birthday.

Jon Fitch celebrated his win over Paulo Thiago next door at Lavo, first with a flute of champagne and, later, several rounds of Macallan 12 on the rocks. His girlfriend and 30 other friends joined him for the victory party.

The UFC 100 partying also continued south on The Strip, as Wanderlei Silvahosted a post-bout bash at LAX.

Further North on The Strip, UFC lightweight Roger Huerta enjoyed a few post-fight drinks with his manager and a few friends out on the patio at Blush.

Huerta was overheard talking about his upcoming fight against Grey Maynard, who he will face in the octagon in September.

Also there were That 70s Show actress Laura Prepon and her boyfriend, Greek actor Scott Michael Foster. The two danced the night away and threw back a few bottles’ worth of Grey Goose vodka while they and their friends lived it up at the Wynn hotspot.

The UFC sightings continued over at the Hard Rock Hotel, too, as Quinton “Rampage” Jackson made it rain at Body English and Cheik Congo joined the party, too.

Also at Body English were Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester and her boyfriend, Kings actor Sebastian Stan. The couple had dinner at Rare 120 before hitting the club, where Meester took to the stage and sang along as DJ Clinton Sparks played the actress-turned-songstress’ yet-to-be-released single, “Front Cut,” for the Saturday night crowd.

Joshua LeBar from Entourage was also there, as were the rockers from Incubus, who had a few very low-key bevvies in the club’s VIP after they performed at The Joint.

Meanwhile, former Backstreet Boy AJ McLean was also spotted on property, at Wasted Space.

Over at the Palms, The New Kids on the Block put on a sizzling Saturday night show the Pearl.

After the show, Donnie Wahlberg and Joey McIntyre partied it up at Playboy Club, where they sipped Ketel one cocktails and later treated fans to a special performance of “Single.”
