Guide to football game day specials

Half the fun of going out to watch football is finding tasty food and drink specials to enjoy during the game. If you’re in the mood to munch while you watch, read on to find your new favorite game day destination.

El Cortez offers specials including $1 Budweiser and Bud Light drafts and $1 Vienna Beef hot dogs for all Monday Night Football games during the 2012–2013 football season. In addition, halftime drawings will be held during each game where guests can win jerseys and other prizes. The promotion starts Monday, September 10.

Back by popular demand, guests at Stations Casino properties can enjoy $1 Budweiser beers and hot dogs during all Saturday, Sunday and Monday football games at all 16 locations.

Crazy Horse III will offer free Budweiser and Bud Light drafts, in addition to free Crown Royal drinks, for the pregame party starting at 4 p.m. until kickoff on Monday nights. During the game, football fans can enjoy unobstructed views on large flat screen TVs, $1 hot dogs, $1 Budweiser and Bud Light drafts, as well as $5 cocktails during the games. The club puts a unique spin on the cheerleader halftime shows with stripteases by the Las Vegas Tight Ends.

Crazy Horse III will also be the official home for ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM’s Monday Night Football live broadcast and will have weekly raffle giveaways leading up to the Super Bowl. Guests who attend the Monday Night Football parties will receive a new raffle ticket each time they purchase a bucket of Budweiser or Bud Light beer throughout the game. During each quarter a raffle ticket will be pulled for prizes including show and concert tickets, car washes, gift cards and more. At Crazy Horse III’s Super Bowl party, a raffle ticket will be selected from this season’s entries for the grand prize—a 46-inch flat screen television.

Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer kicks off football season with “Bones and Beers” specials that start Wednesday, September 5 and continue every Thursday through Monday throughout the season. “Bones and Beers” specials include shots of Patrón tequila for $5, pitchers of Coors Light or Lynyrd Skynyrd Lager for $15, chicken wings and a pitcher of beer for $22, or pork spare ribs and a pitcher of beer for $30.

The restaurant’s season-long specials will culminate with a giveaway of two tickets and airfare for two to the 2013 Sugar Bowl at the Superdome in New Orleans on January 2. Fans will receive one contest entry ticket with every Coors Light or Lynyrd Skynyrd Lager pitcher purchased during football games.

In honor of the start of football season, Collective Zoo and Ranch House Kitchen in Town Square team up to present “Pigskin Playground.” In addition to their $20 all-you-can-eat Sunday Brunch menu, Ranch House Kitchen serves up $2 domestic beers, $12 buckets of beer and a $20 bottomless Bloody Mary bar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant will offer complimentary wireless internet access for Fantasy Football fans plus weekly raffles offering a chance to win a $100 food and beverage tab.

LVH- Las Vegas Hotel presents Football Central in the LVH Theater every Sunday through the postseason. Doors open at 9 a.m. Admission is free and the venue is smoke free. Watch the games on 11 large HD screens plus a 15-by-20-foot screen for the featured game. Food and drink specials include $1 hotdogs and $2 Miller drafts. Check out sports memorabilia from American Memorabilia Magazine each week and place your bets at remote betting stations inside the theater. Radio personalities from KOMP 92.3, 97.1 The Point, ESPN 1100 AM/98.9 FM and Fox 920 AM will be in attendance.

Prizes include a one-year lease on a 2013 Range Rover Evoque from Land Rover Las Vegas, a 42-inch flat screen TV, courtesy of Bust Out Bail Bonds, a pair of recliners from Walker Furniture and rounds of golf and player's cards courtesy of Arroyo Golf Club and Siena Golf Club.

Fantasy Football will take on a new meaning with a special pre-Monday Night Football performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Fantasy headliner Lorena Peril at the new Public House inside Luxor Hotel and Casino at 4 p.m. on Monday, September 10. The night will be part of Public House’s grand opening celebrations.

The new venue offers game day specials available every Saturday, Sunday and Monday through the end of football season. Starting that evening and running every Monday throughout football season, Public House will offer $25 buckets of Bud Light and Budweiser and $20 buckets of wings. Every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., the restaurant will offer its Happy Hangover Brunch with an all-you-can-eat buffet for $20 per person. Brunch buffet items will include scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, breakfast burritos, eggs Benedict, crème brûlée french toast and more plus $15 bottomless mimosas or a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar for a two-hour limit per person.

Minus5 Ice Bar at Mandalay Place welcomes the start of the 2012 football season with drink specials. After visiting the ice bar, guests can visit Minus5 Lodge Bar to watch the games on one of several high-definition televisions, including a 72-inch LED and a super-sized projector screen. Guests can enjoy drink specials including $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon, $3 house wines, $3 jello shots and $7 Skyy Infusion martinis.

Mi Casa Grill Cantina at Silverton offers Monday Night Football specials, giveaways and chances to win weekly prizes. Food and drink specials include $2 tacos and quesadillas, $2 Jägermeister shots, $3 Skyy Vodka cocktails and $12 Corona and Corona Light buckets. Each week, receive a chance to enter to win the end-of-season grand prize, the Man Cave or Diva’s Den. The Man Cave is two recliners from Walker Furniture, a 50” plasma TV, X-box 360, Madden 13 and a Jägermeister Bar-top machine. The Diva’s Den is a custom closet by Container Store.

The Party Pit at Silverton extends its hours during football season. Every Sunday starting at 1 p.m., Monday starting at 5 p.m., Thursday starting at 5 p.m. and Friday & Saturday starting at 7 p.m., enjoy gaming with model dealers while you watch the games.

In the Silverton’s Shady Grove Lounge, adjacent to the Party Pit, enjoy food and drink specials plus music from DJ Draztek starting at 9 p.m. (Friday and Saturday only). Food specials including wings for $9, double dogs for $5, cheeseburgers for $8.95, sliders for $8.95, nachos for $9, cheese pizza for $7 and pepperoni pizza for only $9.

Señor Frog’s Las Vegas offers $25 tubs of beer and half-priced appetizers every Thursday through Monday during football season. The upstairs party bar will be transformed into a football viewing area with couches, lounge seating and projection screens.

Tender Steak & Seafood offers a tailgate lounge menu every Sunday and Monday night from 5-9 p.m. throughout the regular season. The menu will range in price from $3 to $20 and offer unique items including homemade Texas chili fries with cheddar cheese, beef tenderloin strip taco salad, barbecue wild pork ciabatta sandwich and Blue Point oyster shooters.

Rhumbar will offer drink specials and big screen television viewing every Thursday through Monday. Drink specials include $6 Coors Light and Bloody Marys. Buckets of Coors Light, which will include a commemorative Coors Light snack-pack, will be available for $25.

During Saturday and Sunday games at PBR Rock Bar inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, guests can enjoy the daily happy hour of $3 domestic draft beers, two-for-one well cocktails, $5 shots, half-price bottles of wine and $19 Budweiser buckets. Football fans can also enjoy special pricing on drinks and beer during Monday Night Football.

Rampart Casino celebrates the return of football season with beverage and prize specials throughout September, including $2 for Bud and Bud Light in all casino bars Monday through Friday all day during football season. Food specials will include $1 Vienna beef hot dogs every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and every Monday night from 4-9 p.m. A weekly “Second Chance” drawing for all losing tickets will be held at halftime during every Monday Night Football game with a $100 first place prize and a $100 bonus prize if the winner is present.

Rampart Casino’s J.C. Wooloughan’s Irish Pub will offer exclusive food and beverage specials beginning at 9 a.m. every Sunday. Beer specials on Sundays throughout the season will include $2 Bud and Bud Light drafts, $8 domestic pitchers and $10 import pitchers. Other beverage specials will include $5 Bloody Marys. Food specials will include $6 wings, a $5.99 Angus burger and a hearty $8 all-American breakfast.

Throughout the month of September, enjoy food and drink specials at PTs and Sierra Gold locations. Enjoy $2 Budweisers and Bud Lights on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5-10 p.m. Game Day specials are from Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. and include nacho fries, buckets of ribs, sliders, bourbon fingers and the fork n’ knife sandwich for $4.99.
