Dining News & Notes: A White Party at Andiron and a family meal at Other Mama

Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris is hosting a wine tasting with French producer E. Guigal on June 21 at 4 p.m. The cost is $40 per person and includes passed hors d’oevres. For reservations, call 702-948-6937.

MRKT Sea & Land at Aliante Casino will host a “Tour of Napa” wine pairing dinner on June 23 at 6:30 p.m. featuring eight courses and wine selections from multiple Napa Valley wineries. The cost is $100 per person and reservations can be made by calling 702-692-7265.

Andiron Steak & Sea is throwing its first Hamptons-inspired White Party on June 25 from 6 to 9 p.m., featuring a light and summery menu including burrata and roasted peach toast, oysters, scallop ceviche and more. The cost is $59 and reservations can be made at andironsteak.com. Plan to wear white, of course.

Lucky Foo’s is set to debut its Fork and Spoon LV pay-it-forward pop-up restaurant concept on June 27 at 6 p.m. featuring guest chef Beni Velazquez. The menu will have no prices; guests will be able to decide what they want to pay for the experience, and “every plate purchased gives a plate away to someone who can’t afford one” in Las Vegas. Downtown Summerlin’s Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is bringing back its Flight Nights starting on June 28 at 6 p.m. Sommeliers Sarah Pollack from Bellagio’s Jasmine and Troy Grenstiner from MGM Grand’s Craftsteak will compete by pairing wines with three courses of food. The cost for the meal is $50 and reservations can be made by calling 702-202-6300.

Other Mama chef/owner Dan Krohmer hosts Chris Decker of Lulu’s Bread & Breakfast and cocktails from Downtown’s Velveteen Rabbit for a “Family Meal” event on July 18 at 9 p.m. The cost for an evening of eclectic plates and summer drinks is $75 per person with all proceeds going to No Kid Hungry.
