Following their successful 20-performance run of MUS.I.C. (pronounced “muse-I-see”) at the Hollywood Theatre inside MGM Grand, the Lewis Carroll-inspired masked men of JabbaWockeeZ have taken their act to a bigger stage with a larger audience—at the Monte Carlo, sharing a theater with impressionist Frank Caliendo. They’ll be there for at least the next six months.
The stage show has been dressed to the nines: It’s better paced and equipped with improved stage sets. Audience interaction is heightened, with the JabbaWockeeZ sliding offstage (sometimes literally) and into the audience’s comfort zone. With its hip-hop attitude and a playlist including songs released this year, MUS.I.C. pushes the boundaries of what a Strip show can and should be.
