The renowned producer directs the music for the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children (October 9 at Wynn Las Vegas). Here’s what he does in his free time:

Watching: I fell asleep to Jimmy Kimmel last night. I like all of the CSI shows, and I’m a big game-show fan. I love Howie Mandel’s Deal or No Deal.

Reading: A boring book about Rachmaninoff (A Lifetime in Music). I’m about 20 pages in, but it’s been a tough read. Small print. But I’m something of a Rachmaninoff junkie.

Playing: I’d love to play sax. For a piano player to turn on a crowd, you have to work really, really hard. But a sax player can play just one note and move an audience.

Listening: Well, I’m actually working on a song right now for the musical I’m writing, Betty Boop. It’s called, “Say You Remember.” It’s about two old people who had been lovers, 40 years earlier, meeting again. That’s going through my head right now.

Keeping his eye on: The girl who was on America’s Got Talent (Jackie Evancho, who finished second). She is a huge talent, probably so good that she could have a 50-year career.
