Las Vegas Science Festival Interesting exhibits. Engaging lectures. Representatives from top science companies and organizations. Enjoy an informative weekend out with the whole family—everyone is invited to celebrate science. May 1-7, times/locations vary, lasvegassciencefestival.com.

Danzig Not sure what we like more, Danzig’s Mother video, or the video of Glenn Danzig getting punched out. Doesn’t matter, this band still rocks. With DevilDriver & 2Cents. April 29, 6 p.m., $29-$33, House of Blues.

Tiger Jam Unsurprisingly, the Tiger Woods Foundation’s annual Las Vegas fundraiser took last year off. Now the golfer is back, with Grammy winners Keith Urban and John Mayer in tow. April 30, 8:30 p.m., $70-$165, Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers He’s the original Gwyneth Paltrow. Come hear the comedian/actor/art collector/magician/writer play banjo songs from his upcoming bluegrass album, Rare Bird Alert. April 29 & 30, 9 p.m., $60-$70, the Mirage.

Body Paint Throwdown Six artists have two-and-a-half hours to create a carnival-themed living canvas. Remember, the earlier you show up, the more skin you see. And show up hungry; Slidin’ Thru will be there, too. May 1, 7 p.m., $5, 18+, Arts Factory.

SEE

Game of Thrones It’s not easy distilling a sprawling, intricate fantasy novel into hour-long parcels of television, but so far, so good, HBO. Maybe those guys should take The Hobbit off Peter Jackson’s hands once and for all. Sundays, 9 p.m.

Survivor: Redemption Island Voted yourself off the island years ago? Here’s your chance at redemption. The Cult of Boston Rob and heartbroken Christian warrior Matt are waiting. Wednesdays, 8 p.m., CBS.

DRINK

Firebreathing Dragon Like cocktails named for mythical creatures? Head to Floor 1.5 at Cosmo’s Chandelier bar to try this spicy concoction of Bacardi Dragon Berry, raspberry puree and lemongrass and Thai chile syrup. Gets ya right in the back of the throat. $13.
