The Weekly dishes up verdicts on new dipping sauces at McDonald’s

Image
The fast-food chain has four new sauces to sample and savor!

Remember “Barbecue, Hot Mustard, Sweet ’N Sour or Honey?” Child’s play. McDonald’s recently introduced four brand new dipping sauces—Spicy Buffalo, Honey Mustard, Sweet Chili and Creamy Ranch—and of course, we at Weekly couldn’t resist trying all of them. Here are the results of that intense research, conducted at an unoccupied desk (sorry, April) during a recent lunch break in our offices. The best? Sweet Chili—not overly sweet, with a nice zingy finish. The worst? Creamy Ranch, which in no way complemented the taste of the McNugget; salads, maybe, but who’s really going to Mickey D’s for a salad? Honey Mustard was exactly what we expected, and Spicy Buffalo divided the staff most of all; I found it far too vinegary, but others declared it their favorite. Okay, let’s never do that again, guys.
