Insomniac starts the party one day early with a set from the renowned German DJ at a special house music edition of the venue’s Worship industry night. Other EDC acts Benny Benassi and Above & Beyond will play Saturday and Sunday, respectively. If you bought glow sticks for this weekend, we suggest you save ’em for the Speedway. Shaq’s Retirement Party/DJ Pauly D at Moon His 19-year professional career saw him scoop up four championship rings, MVP and Rookie of the Year awards, 15 All-Star game selections and an Olympic gold medal. Celebrate it all Saturday when Shaq hosts his baller bash with sounds supplied by Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D, who wraps up his inaugural weekend as a resident DJ at the Palms. Martin Solveig at Wet Republic Say bonjour to the French electro DJ on Saturday, when he spins under the sun at MGM’s ultra pool. Here’s hoping he treats the crowd to his international hit, “Hello.” June 25, doors at 11 a.m., $50 men, $20 women.

Femme Fatale Afterparty at Krave If the pattern continues, you’ll definitely want to be at Krave Saturday night. Both Lady Gaga and Ke$ha gave after-concert performances at the gay club—will Ms. Spears follow suit after hosting the grand opening of Club Nikki? Either way, your Britney fix will be satisfied, as Derrick Barry performs as the pop princess. June 25, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Taio Cruz at Chateau He’s going to rock the club, he’ll go all night, and he might even light it up like it’s “Dynamite.” Cruz takes the Paris nightclub’s stage to perform a few of his pop music hits. June 25, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Who’s Bad at Insert Coin(s) Remember the King of Pop at Downtown’s videobar/game lounge; special performances are planned, along with an MJ dance battle with DJs Presto One, Kobra and Miglovin laying down the tracks. If you’re not down with the most successful entertainer of all time, well, then you can just beat it. June 25, 10 p.m., free entry.

Calvin Harris & Feed Me at Surrender Don’t have the funds to see all 130-plus acts at EDC this weekend? Settle for two really good ones: Deadmau5 protégé Feed Me joins Scotland’s Harris after both men finish up at the Speedway. June 25, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $30 women, local ladies free.

Say What?! Man vs. Machine at Beauty Bar Live bands (man) and electronic acts (machine) collide at the Downtown bar’s battle of sound. On the DJ end: Jacuzzihidive, Grimehaus, Oscar Wylde and T.I.M.E. Man will be represented by Close to Modern, Neon Façade and Lipstick Killers. A photo booth and performance art complete the Indiekrush.com event. June 25, 10 p.m., free entry.
