The Rocky Horror Picture Show Local troupe Frankie’s Favorite Obsession celebrates a decade of performing alongside the campy cult classic with a costume contest and other surprises. July 2, 10 p.m., $9, Tropicana Cinemas.

Scenes from Sin City This series showcasing movies set in Vegas features a couple of obvious choices (Viva Las Vegas, the original Ocean’s 11), but the more obscure first two films, 1946’s Heldorado and 1950’s My Friend Irma Goes West, highlight the city’s pre-iconic days.
