Evening of Hope Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada’s annual fundraiser has become the most laid-back walk-and-bite of the spring. This year’s restaurant lineup includes Bon Breads, DW Bistro, Hash House A Go Go, Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria, Mundo and more, and unlike other events, your money goes to a great cause. April 27, 6-10 p.m., $175, Keep Memory Alive Event Center, candlelightersnv.org.

Foodie Fest More than 45 food trucks and vendors, including local faves Fukuburger, Curbside Cafe and Haulin’ Balls, will converge on the Silverton for this family-friendly weekend carnival, which also includes a beer garden, tequila tent and eating contests. April 28, noon-11 p.m. & April 29, noon-9 p.m., $10, Silverton, lasvegasfoodiefest.com.

Wine Spectator Grand Tour Mingle with way too many winemakers at this annual taste-a-thon, which has moved from the Venetian to the Mirage this year. The Grand Tour is a fancier version of UNLVino, although someone will still get drunk and spill on you. May 5, 7-10 p.m., $200, Mirage, winespectator.com.

Vegas Uncork’d Many of the dinners and events that make up this ultimate Vegas foodfest are sold out, so check the website to pounce on the scraps. Interesting options this year include a food truck invasion at Bellagio, a clambake at Mandalay Beach and of course, the Grand Tasting at Caesars’ pool. May 10-13, $75-$295, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay & Cosmopolitan, vegasuncorked.com.

Epicurean Affair The Nevada Restaurant Association’s poolside Palazzo party features lots of restaurants from on and off the Strip and tons of booze. Pay $150 to beat the crowd and get in an hour early. May 24, 7-10 p.m., $100, Palazzo, nvrestaurants.com.
