The poker player first needs to convince networks of the show’s potential.

Is Full House With Johnny Chan the next reality show to spring from Las Vegas’ fertile streets? Maybe. But first he’s got to convince networks of Full House’s potential. The show’s premise is simple: Five ranked poker players are given $200,000 and access to Chan’s house. If they win, they get to stay, play and party. If they lose their bankroll, they’re kicked out. It’s World Poker Tour meets Jersey Shore meets Big Brother, and it sounds pretty entertaining. So will it happen? According to creator Jay Ishimaru, “Before there was even a chance to pitch the show, or even before the reel was even created, we already had offers from major TV networks.” Let’s just hope the networks weren’t bluffing.
