Great Scot: Calvin Harris brings beats to Wet Republic this weekend. Do Scots tan or burn?

Rock N Brew at Palms Pool & Bungalows The annual beer fest is back for its fourth edition, bringing more than 80 beers to the Palms Pool for your sip-and-sample pleasure. Power-pop group Hellogoodbye headlines the bill (which also includes local covers outfit Red Eye Radio). After the fest, keep the party going 50 floors up—your ticket stub earns you free entry to Moon and the Palms’ new game room, the View. April 5, doors at 6 p.m., $35-$40.

4th Anniversary with David Guetta at XS With its beautiful indoor/outdoor design (less elbow dropping!), fun programming (we’re eagerly awaiting Night Swim) and a killer DJ roster (Diplo, Wolfgang Gartner, etc.), it’s no surprise XS has been going strong for four years now. Toast the club’s anniversary Friday night, and enjoy a set by the world-renowned Guetta. April 5, doors at 10 p.m., $55 men, $25 women.

Green Velvet at Body English The DJ and producer is known for his work during the height of Chicago’s house and techno scene in the ’90s, and lucky for the millennials, he’s stayed relevant since. Catch the legend live at the Hard Rock nightspot this Saturday. Also supplying sound: BePM Crew. April 6, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men ($20 local), $20 women ($10 local).

Snoop Dogg at Tao He might call himself Snoop Lion these days, but he’ll always be Snoop Doggy Dogg to us. Catch him live Saturday, when he performs for Tao’s Seven Deadly Sins soiree. In the booth: DJ Vice. April 6, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

Cedric Gervais and Goodie Mob at Surrender Before Cee Lo was Mr. Loberace, he was part of hip-hop group Goodie Mob. This Saturday the crew will play host at the Encore nightclub, with French DJ/producer Cedric Gervais spinning for his monthly “Le Show” residency. April 6, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $30 women.

Calvin Harris at Wet Republic The Grammy-winning DJ and producer has found a new home at MGM (and maybe some love in a different place?). You’ll have to wait a while to see him at Hakkasan, but you can experience his beats live this Sunday during his Wet Republic residency debut. April 7, doors at 11 a.m., $50 men, $30 women.

Major Lazer at 1 Oak The EDM outfit (led by Vegas regular DJ Diplo) is set to release their upcoming album, Free the Universe, on April 15. They land at the Mirage nightspot for its weekly One of a Kind Tuesdays bash. April 9, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $30 women, locals free.

Spring POSE at Blue Martini The Town Square watering hole presents its fashion-focused Preview of Style Event (P.O.S.E.) Wednesday, with more than 15 stores showcasing their looks. Patty Barba of Patty’s Closet plays emcee, and attendees can enjoy complimentary nibbles and take a shot at raffle prizes throughout the evening. Did we mention you score a free drink with your RSVP? April 10, 5:30 p.m., RSVP by April 8 at mytownsquarelasvegas.com/pose-rsvp.
