Resorts World, Vegas’ upcoming multi-billion-dollar Chinese-themed hotel, isn’t going to demolish the nearby half-finished Echelon hotel; they’re going to cover it up. With a pair of giant pagodas. Which got us thinking: What other Vegas eyesores could be creatively camouflaged?

Let’s turn the Harmon at CityCenter into a waterfall. Throw a pair of giant eyes on top, and the falling water could represent the tears of the Dubai World investors who helped put the empty tower up in the first place. And then let’s string some lights over the electrical grid between the Westin and Tuscany, disguising it as a futuristic beer garden. When Christmas rolls around, we could turn the lights red and green and throw a couple fir trees underneath. The working man’s Bellagio Conservatory.
