Ever wonder what “Levels” would sound like on classical guitar? Want to get an insider’s look at Las Vegas tattoo culture? You can find out about both—and more—at Marquee’s new event series “The Collaborative,” kicking off at the Cosmopolitan nightclub on October 21.

The social Monday night series is designed to bring industry members together to mingle over specially concocted mixology menus while participating in local-savvy arts and culture events.

The Collaborative will kick off October 21 with the return of performance art favorites The Bumbys, who will offer up their signature on-the-spot personal assessments.

On November 11, Daniel Lowber of the web series Neon Roundtable will lead a discussion on tattoo culture in Las Vegas and around the world, with panelists including Austin Spencer from Studio 21 Tattoo Gallery and Tattoo Fight Club and Corey Nyman of The Nyman Group and Labor Wines, among others.

The following Monday, November 18, local musicians Tekkno Flamenko (also known as Turbine) will perform their unique electronica-classical guitar stylings. The group features noted Las Vegas show collaborators, including guitarist/composer Elvis Lederer (Blue Man Group, Moby, Jill Scott), drummer and composer Jason Mackenroth (Blue Man Group) and bassist/electronic musician Djeff (Cirque du Soleil).

All events take place at 10 p.m. inside the Library at Marquee and are free to attend after cover charge. More dates and performances are to be announced.
