Up until a few years ago, a photojournalist worked to tell a story in one frame. Given that space is at a premium in a newspaper, more often than not only one photo from an event would run, so a photographer would try to include as much information in one photo as possible, or at least to distill the event down into a single rectangle. But sometimes, leaving information out is what makes a photo. So I’m just going to leave the caption on this one blank.
