If the great chef had simply recreated his former brasserie from Wynn 2005 here in 2014, no one would have complained. But Boulud fashioned a bright new destination and sparkling new menu, adding a bit of Mediterranean and American flair to his pitch-perfect French cuisine. It simply didn’t make sense for Daniel not to be on the Strip, and fortunately for Las Vegas, the great chef agrees. DB Brasserie at Venetian, 702-430-1235. Daily, 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m.
