All The Vegas Podcast: Vegas-born talent Stephanie Sanchez

Singer and dancer Stephanie Sanchez at the Park

Vegas native Stephanie Sanchez danced in many production shows including Enter the Night at the Stardust and At the Copa at the Rio and sang in Fantasy at Luxor for almost a decade, and today she works as entertainment manager at New York-New York. Not many people have changed from a G-string to a suit while working on the Strip.

“The transition to the suit world is different,” she says. “I don’t trust people with their clothes on because in a dressing room, you know everything about that person. There’s no reason to hide anything. We already know everything about each other. So that being said, you go into the office setting and think, these people are shady.”

On this episode of All The Vegas with Brock Radke and guest co-host Doug Elfman, Stephanie talks all about her recent role in Mamma Mia, the first musical she’s ever done; booking all the performers at New York-New York and the Park; catching and spreading VGK fever; dancing in her first Vegas show at Bob Stupak’s Vegas World; performing with Sheena Easton and David Cassidy; singing every night for three years without a backup in Fantasy; how styles of dance in Vegas shows have changed through years; and watching her daughter Shelby Jordan follow in her footsteps on the Strip stage.

EPISODE 22: THE VEGAS YOU NEED

Nobody spends more time partying at the Park than Stephanie and she knows Beer Haus is the spot for pre-game, post-game, game time and any other time.

Maybe Doug came to The Space to record All The Vegas just so he could recommend the Red Rooster. Maybe not.

Brock is in love with new local food and culture podcast Spicy Eyes by Kristy Totten and Sonja Swanson.
