NFR’s Cowboy Christmas swirls up entertainment and retail offerings

Image
Yee-haw, it’s Cowboy Christmas time again.

NFR's Cowboy Christmas is a free bonanza of shopping, live entertainment and more, with this year's event slated to host some 300 exhibitors. Think of it like a pop-up mall with major brands (Wrangler, Roper, Boot Barn) and indie crafters and small businesses (Monique's Leather, Art by Amy Labbe, Rodeo Time Fudge). If your loved ones love turquoise jewelry, custom leather goods, specialty knives and/or hand-poured candles, this is your one-stop Christmas shopping spot.

You can watch videos of the previous night's NFR happenings will enjoying refreshments at the Coors Rodeo Saloon, or grab something to eat at the Bites & Brews food carts presented by Total Feeds.

Observe the interactive Great Wall of Rodeo by Calgary Stampede. Visit NFR Central for daily guest appearances and autograph sessions. Check out the Junior World Finals—a great way to sample the rodeo experience without going all in. Watch a show by famous rodeo clown Flint Rasmussen on the Rodeo Live stage. And don't forget to explore the Rodeo Way Exhibits.

If you've done all that and still want more country fun, mosey on over to the neighboring (and free!) RMEF's Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo. Yee-haw
