To paraphrase a popular saying, it's always First Friday somewhere. And this Friday, May 1, from 6-9 p.m., that somewhere is Instagram TV (@firstfridaylv), where artists and musicians from Downtown Vegas' art and culture fest will broadcast live from their home studios. Scheduled to appear are Jef Logan, a self-taught American Filipino artist who favors strong textures and bold colors; Mary Felker, a high school art teacher by day, whose bold graphic art betrays a deep love for the wide open spaces of our Nevada desert; and Diego Morales, a saxophonist with Frankie Moreno's band and a First Friday regular.
