Best. Party. Ever.

AFAN’s Black & White Party is the next best thing to Studio 54 circa 1980

AFAN Black and White Party @ The Joint

I won’t mince words here: AFAN’s Black & White Party at the Hard Rock was the best party I’ve been to in Las Vegas.

Mime-faced stilt walkers, walking cupcake tables, top-hatted disco balls, ice penis shot slides (courtesy of Montecristo Rum), disposable wooden plates, complementary Fiji Water—this party had everything.

I blew bubbles with Female Magician of the Year Arian Black, skateboarded with Rufio—well, the guy looked like the leader of the Lost Boys from Hook, but was actually a Rain Cosmetics makeup instructor—and watched the Men of X cast engage in a dance off against a Michael Jackson impersonator.

After the annual benefit, I finally get Studio 54, circa 1980. I’ve seen the golden ratio of young/rich/performer/drag queen, and it was a beautiful thing indeed.
