The Shark Club reunion at the Copa Room Quick Vegas nightlife history lesson: Before megaclubs and bottle service, the Shark Club was one of the Strip’s first ’80s and ’90s hot spots. Some of the original DJs are back to drop the best tracks from that era. Relive the good ol’ days with DJs Frankie and R.O.B. and more. September 24, doors at 10 p.m., $5, 7700 Las Vegas Blvd. S.

Social Republik Saturdays at Fortet Looking for a break from the Strip? Enjoy $60 bottles, $10 hookahs and tunes from DJs Steve Walker, Biz:E, Arvin Mac (it’s his birthday) and Purple spin, along with residents Jaevan and Electromuted. September 25, doors at 10 p.m., free, 4180 S. Rainbow Blvd.

Sidney Samson at Wet Republic RIVERSIDE, MUTHAFUCKER!!! Dirty Dutch DJ/producer Sidney Samson headlines Daylife Sundays. Fingers crossed he plays the catchy “Riverside” because we know a few locals who have the dance down pat and go crazy when anybody drops the song. Don’t know the moves? There’s an instructional video on YouTube. Really. We posted it on the right. September 26, doors at 11 a.m., free for locals before 2 p.m.

Miss Butterface 2010 at Jet You read that right, a contest for a lady who’s got everything going on … but her face. Any chick brave enough can compete Monday for a chance to have TV’s Dr. 90210 turn her face into plastic-surgery perfection. Gotta love Vegas. September 27, doors at 10 p.m., $30, locals free.
