We use Audio-Technica Professional DJ headphones to produce as well as DJ. They have a nice amount of bass for listening and a clean sound for mixing. $171, amazon.com.

Steve Aoki's headphones need to look cool. Thus, Sol Republic.

Steve Aoki

Sol Republic is my favorite in terms of sound and design. It’s a brand new company, but Monster does their sound. You need cool-looking headphones. $129, Tracks HD, solrepublic.com.

Sometimes longevity is the key to a product's appeal. For Kaskade, Sony MDR-7506 headphones are the best.

Kaskade

Sony MDR-7506. They’re the workhorse of headphones. They’ve been around forever. I’ve been using them for 20 years. The sound is amazing; I love ’em. $99, bhphotovideo.com.

Expensive but worth it to Avicii -- V-Moda Crossfades.

Avicii

I use V-Moda Crossfades. I just think they look good—cool style. I know the guy who makes them; he gives me custom-fitted stuff, and the sound is amazing. $199, LP2, v-moda.com.
