Drai’s After Hours Talent Buyer and Resident DJ Chris Garcia has been producing music on his own for about five years. But this year he formed Rekto Verso with LA-based producer/DJ—and fellow Frenchman—Erik Hagleton. Though the twosome has already spent the past four months gigging here (at Drai’s After Hours, of course) and there (in LA, where Hagleton lives, and Ibiza), it has only recently released music: “Here We Go,” currently a free download and stream on the duo’s Soundcloud page. It’s a deep but classic house groove, its drum rhythms adding both depth and international flair and its R&B vocal sample lending the track some Chicago soul—a sexy sound sorely needed in Las Vegas.
