The Las Vegas Valley’s largest local bar chain just got a little greener. PT’s Entertainment Group opened four Irish-themed venues last week under the name Sean Patrick’s Pub & Grill, adding to its existing 43 taverns in Southern Nevada.

Some thoughts on the Southern Highlands Parkway pub, which was formerly the Irish-themed bar Molly Malone’s:

Love the pool table and shuffleboard, as well as the map of Ireland on one wall, fleur de lys on another, dark-wood floors, stained glass and various portraits of Irish life throughout. We hear a cigar room is coming soon.

The Irish beer selection needs work. Only Guinness and Bass? C’mon, guys, we need at least some Murphy’s, Kilkenny and Smithwick’s up in here to tip the scales away from the usual New Belgium and Blue Moon fare.

The menu is almost instantly recognizable as part of the PT’s family—wings, wings and more wings—but Sean Patrick’s does feature a “four-leaf clover menu” to indicate dishes you can get only there, including a Guinness steak sandwich, corned beef sliders, corned beef hash and eggs, and the Sean Patrick Pizza, which boasts, among other ingredients, corned beef, sauerkraut and Thousand Island. Call us crazy, but we gotta try that last one!

Sean Patrick's 11930 Southern Highlands Parkway, 702-837-0213. 24/7. For hours and information about the other three locations, visit pteglv.com.
