‘OITNB’ actress/DJ Ruby Rose takes the booth at Wynn this month

Orange is the New Black‘s Ruby Rose takes the decks at Wynn this month.

“Women,” says Stella Carlin, the charmingly enigmatic inmate played by Ruby Rose on Season 3 of Orange is the New Black, the word loaded with sarcasm.

“And you don’t consider yourself a member of that category?” Piper Chapman replies.

“I do, but only because my options are limited.”

It’s here, inside Litchfield Penitentiary’s lingerie factory, that we’re introduced to Stella, Orange’s newest jailbird. Spoiler alert: She ends up involved in Piper’s dirty-panty scheme and as one of her love interests, all while capturing the hearts of viewers everywhere.

On the heels of the show’s success, Rose arrives in Las Vegas to DJ at three Wynn nightclubs through August and September. In a matter of months, the Australian model, actress and DJ has become one hot commodity, loved by lesbians and straight women alike for her impeccable fashion sense and androgynous gender identity.

Rose began her career as an MTV VJ in Australia and has been an outspoken anti-bullying advocate, but her role on the popular Netflix show has given her even greater cult status with an entirely new set of fangirls. Chances are if you’ve seen Season 3, you may have already asked your hair stylist for “the Ruby,” seen Rose’s short film Break Free seven times and started following her (creeping) on Instagram. Who could blame you?

She’ll kick off her Vegas run during the MAGIC convention on August 19 at Surrender, followed by an August 23 gig at XS Nightswim and a Labor Day Weekend spot on September 5 at Tryst. If she’s as good on the decks as she is at playing a badass convict, you won’t want to miss it. Consider it an excuse to binge-watch Orange is the New Black all over again—as if you needed one.

Ruby Rose at Surrender August 19, 10:30 p.m., $45+ men, $35+ women.
