Later this month, you can spend some time exploring Strip nightclubs while doing some good.

On October 17 at 5 p.m., the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada presents Kaleidoscope: The 21st Annual Honorarium at Drai’s. The event includes a silent auction, light bites and themed cocktails, entertainment, and at 7 p.m., a recognition ceremony for this year’s honorees: Patrick Duffy, Beano Solomon and Las Vegas Sands. Colorful attire is encouraged. Tickets are $150 and available at thecenterlv.org, with proceeds benefitting the nonprofit.

And on October 21, Lavo Casino Club at Palazzo hosts “A Night Out” benefitting the Rape Crisis Center, which has experienced significant increases in calls to its hotline and number of victims assisted in the past two years. The party starts at 5:30 p.m. and includes sounds from DJ88, Lavo snacks and signature “Party Smartini” beverages. Admission is $30, and tickets are available at the door or at rcclv.org.
