Less than a week after announcing most of the lineup for the second edition of house and techno-fueled mega-weekend Art of the Wild, Wynn Nightlife has added some of those names to its 2019 residency lineup. XS, Intrigue and Encore Beach Club will see additional performances from Bedouin, Black Coffee, Fisher, Guy Gerber, Jamie Jones, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Nicole Moudaber and The Martinez Brothers throughout the year, along with productions from club and festival music brands elrow, Paradise, Rumors and Saga. It’s not clear yet if any of these residents will perform at Wynn venues before Art of the Wild weekend March 22-24 at XS and Encore Beach Club, but with EBC opening for the season on March 1, anything could happen.

In other Wynn Nightlife news, the group presented the first-ever Hold 'em for a Cause charity poker tournament benefitting the Shade Tree at the Encore Poker Room on January 16 and raised more than $75,000 for an emergency fund for the women’s and children’s shelter. The two top winners out of the 125 participants also donated their winnings directly to the Shade Tree.

On the Record at Park MGM has already brought some interesting entertainers to the Strip since opening before New Year’s Eve and there are more coming this week, including Ja Rule tonight to help celebrate Las Vegas Weekly’s 21st birthday party and Anderson .Paak on Saturday. The club’s first resident DJ, announced Friday, is definitely an interesting choice. Producer and songwriter Mark Ronson will spin at On the Record for the first time during Super Bowl weekend on February 2, bringing tremendous momentum to Vegas from his new collaboration with Miley Cyrus, “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” and his Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards and Academy Award nomination for “Shallow,” which he co-wrote with Lady Gaga and others for the film A Star Is Born.

The 2019 Nightclub & Bar Awards have been announced and will be honored at the annual NCB show at the Las Vegas Convention Center March 25-27. The lone Vegas winner this year is Stoney’s Rockin’ Country for Country Bar of the Year, but the Tao Group’s new club and restaurant in Chicago won the award for New Lounge or Nightclub Concept of the Year.
