Resorts World Las Vegas has its first live entertainment event on the books. It’s called Neón Experience, a three-day music mini-festival with events planned across the property, including Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub, curated by and starring J Balvin and co-produced by the Zouk Group and Pollen Presents. It’ll take place over Mexican Independence Day weekend, September 16-19.

Additional artists joining the reggaeton megastar at the brand-new resort’s various venues include Karol G, Tainy, Jhay Cortez, Jowell & Randy, Rauw Alejandro, Sky Rompiendo, Alex Sensation, Cornetto, DJ Pope and Agudelo888.

Balvin has been cultivating a steady presence in Las Vegas in recent years, mixing tour stops with appearances and performances during the Latin Grammys and Billboard Latin Music Awards. He was a resident artist at the former KAOS nightclub and dayclub at the Palms.

“Pollen Presents is proud to partner with J Balvin and Zouk Group on the creation of his first-ever Neón Experience at Resorts World Las Vegas,” Pollen co-founder Liam Negus-Fancey said in a statement. “The curatorial input from Balvin has been instrumental in this concept really resonating so powerfully and authentically. We are excited to bring his fans back together in a destination like Las Vegas."

Balvin, who hasn’t performed in front of a live audience in more than a year, will finally bring the songs from last year’s album Colores to the stage with a centerpiece concert during what is traditionally a huge weekend for tourism on the Strip and Latin music in Las Vegas.

“The opportunity to partner with one of the largest Latin artists in the world reinforces our commitment to delivering the most diverse and exciting roster in Las Vegas. This is just the beginning,” Zouk Group CEO Andrew Li said in a statement.

Resorts World, the long-gestating first Las Vegas property from Malaysian corporation Genting Berhad, has not yet announced its official opening date this summer.
