It’s no secret that with Shania, the National Finals Rodeo and half of Nashville in town, there’s a whole lot of hootin’-n-hollerin’ going down. And that means it’s time to stomp my cowgirl boots over to Stoney’s Rockin’ Country at its new Town Square location.

Stoney’s bar manager Ken Hall has the perfect fix to put a kick in your step. It’s a shot called the Hot Lil’ Honey ($8 during NFR, $12 regularly), and it’s a medley of three lip-smacking spirits topped with a dollop of cool whipped cream. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey gives a little bit of sweet and a whole lot of Jack; Fireball Cinnamon Whisky “tastes like heaven, burns like hell;” and Frangelico adds sweet indulgence straight from Franciscan monks. It this shot doesn’t make you want to line dance, well, maybe you just need one more.
