Go-Go Roundup at Revolver Dancers gather at the Santa Fe Station nightspot Thursday to shake their stuff during a freestyle go-go competition (with $5K in cash and prizes on the line). Enjoy the entertaining eye candy while partaking in the night’s open bar (until 11 p.m.). August 2, doors at 8 p.m., $11 (includes open bar), $3 after 11 p.m.

Tiki Bar at First Friday Turf meets surf at August’s installment of the monthly arts festival, with a sandy “beach” at the Arts District hub. And let’s be real, a beach is better with a bar. Sip on cocktails while you enjoy the rather fitting entertainment: Beach Boys music and performances by the cast of Surf the Musical. August 3, 6 p.m., free entry.

Tao Beach Carnival Kick it like a kid again on Saturday, as the Venetian venue turns into a makeshift carnival. Dayclubbers can have their faces painted, take home wacky creations by the balloon artist, score on the prize wheel ($1 per spin) and attempt to soak a firefighter in the dunk tank (three chances for $5, benefitting the Southern Nevada Burn Foundation). Still not sold? A Bacardi snow cone machine completes the nostalgic bash. August 4, doors at 10 a.m., $30 men, $20 women, local ladies free.

Vanilla Ice at GO Pool With 100-plus temperatures expected this weekend, it’ll be anything but “Ice Ice Baby” on Saturday. But that won’t stop the hip-hop artist from soaking up the sun at the Flamingo’s party-friendly pool. Aside from suntans and cocktails, partygoers can also score photos with and autographs from the ’90s pop culture icon. August 4, doors at 9 a.m., $25.

Dave & Mahoney’s Beer Bash at South Point The X107.5 disc jockeys are partnering with CollectiveZoo’s Pool Party Safari for the annual Beer Bash this Saturday. Brew enthusiasts can sample five varieties (VIP tickets get you over 40 plus sake), munch on food truck grub and rock out to live music by Rhyme N Rhythm, Lazystars and A Trivial Hero at the Weekly-sponsored party. Did we mention the 20-foot water slide? August 4, 6:30 p.m. (VIP 5 p.m.), $20 (VIP $50).

Midsummer Lingerie Masquerade at Palms Pool & Bungalows Sans the iconic Playboy brand, the city’s famous summer party returns to the off-Strip oasis Saturday night. Expect the seriously sexy usual: half-naked chicks, body paint galore and characters in crazy costumes. A hosted bar from 9 to 11 p.m. with hooch from Bacardi, Corzo (tequila), Russian Standard (vodka, of course), Miller Lite and Coors, among others, completes the soiree. August 4, 9 p.m., $125+, ladies free with sign-up at n9negroup.com.

Rev Run at Rehab The rapping reverend returns with DJ Ruckus for yet another date of the duo’s HRH residency, supplying their sound for the hotel’s infamous Rehab pool party. August 5, doors at 10 a.m., $50+ men, $30+ women, local ladies free.

Calvin Harris at Encore Beach Club The Scottish EDM artist currently has two singles gracing the Billboard Hot 100 chart: “Feels So Close” and “Let’s Go,” featuring hometown hero Ne-Yo. He returns to the Wynn for EBC’s Daystar Sundays bash (and also spins at Surrender August 3). August 5, doors at 11 a.m., $50 men, $30 women.
