Kill the Noise at House of Blues The man born Jake Stanczak doesn’t make it out to these parts all that much—save during Electric Daisy Carnival—so this event is one to jump on, kids. You’ve heard KTN before—likely on “Recess,” the best song (and title track) from Skrillex’s full-length debut this year. Coincidentally, one of the remixers of that tune, Milo & Otis, will be joining KTN at House of Blues (along with Ape Drums). October 9, doors at 9 p.m., $20.

KnowleDJ at Chateau Las Vegas nightclubs will use any holiday to warrant special marketing, cover hikes or [enter tenuous distinction here]. To wit: Chateau at Paris is acknowledging Canadian Thanksgiving (actual date: October 13) for this party headlined by DJ KnowleDJ. The thin connection is KnowleDJ’s Toronto birthplace. As for other theme manifestations—well, Chateau’s mood directors have their work cut out for them. With DJ ShadowReD. October 10, doors at 10 p.m., $40+ men, $20+ women.

Fall Beer Fest at Golden Nugget Searching for some stellar suds? Look no further than the Downtown destination, as its annual brew fest returns for another installment this weekend. Sip and sample more than 125 domestics from 30 breweries during Friday night’s All American Craft Beer Tasting, then broaden your horizons with international selections at Saturday’s Oktoberfest pool party. Cheers! October 10, 7-10 p.m., $55 (includes unlimited samples); October 11, 1-5 p.m., free entry (beers sold separately).

The Wrecks at The Bank Fusing live performance and electronic beats, the DJ and drummer really rock the party with their infectious collaborations. The duo returns to the Bellagio nightspot Friday. October 10, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40+ men, $27+ women.

The Wineyard at El Cortez October’s gorgeous weather is ideal for al fresco imbibing, right? Vegas StrEATs is long gone, but the El Cortez brings Jackie Gaughan Parkway to life again with an all-new, wine-focused pop-up “patio” every Friday in October. The casual hangout features wines by the bottle or glass, craft beers and a selection of à la carte meats and cheeses to pair, all available for purchase. October 10, doors at 5 p.m., free.

Underground Theory with D.D.R. at Hard Hat Lounge If you’ve been longing for a time machine to go back to when raves were raves (not temporary amusement parks), get thee down to Naked City for this 11-DJ celebration of the underground, headlined by acid techno pioneer D.D.R., playing his first local gig in nearly 10 years. For more acid-techno throwback, Lethal One will be spinning a vinyl mix of the stuff. A diverse group of locals like Tribal Grooves and Kinekt round out the bill. October 11, doors at 9 p.m., $10.

National Coming Out Day Party at Share In an era when LGBT people were being arrested for being themselves and Ellen DeGeneres had yet to utter those two powerful words on prime-time TV, half a million people congregated in Washington, D.C., for the second March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. NCOD commemorates those brave souls and celebrates LGBT folks showing their true colors. While the official event takes place earlier at Alexis Park, this afterparty at off-Strip gay club Share features a special performance by dance music artist Erika Jayne. October 11, doors at 10 p.m., free.

Apollonia at Life French deep/tech house DJs Shonky, Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom—collectively known as Apollonia—are gonna dump a mountain of underground realness on revelers during their back-to-back-to-back set. This is another one of those wait-this-is-happening-on-the-Strip? gigs, so go and help ensure there are more to come. With Brett Rubin and Chris Garcia. October 12, doors at 10:30 p.m., $25.
