Nightlife news & notes: Crazy Horse III’s Show Us Your Cans food drive and more

Bagatelle celebrates its grand opening on November 16.

Ready to show us your cans? No, no, keep your shirt on. We’re talking about Crazy Horse III’s third annual Show Us Your Cans food drive. Now through December 15, bring five nonperishable food items to the famed strip club, and you’ll get one free drink, as well as the undying appreciation of the Crazy Horse staff. There’s a joke to be made here about giving and receiving, but we’ll let you use your imagination.

Man cannot live on turkey and stuffing leftovers alone. Sushi Roku celebrates eight years of raw fish fabulousness by giving you more of a good thing—for half as much as usual. From November 25-29, guests who mention the big anniversary to their servers can get 50 percent off their food bill during lunch and dinner. Put the drumstick down.

And how does the new kid in town make an entrance? If the new kid is a swank bistro and nightclub, you throw a party. And if that club is Bagatelle, you do one better. The Tropicana venue celebrated its grand opening November 16 with an exclusive soiree featuring performances by Chris Willis, Wynter Gordon and exotic circus/music troupe the Lucent Dossier Experience. There were costumed aerialists, a champagne angel and a sax player on the bar. Next time you make a big move, consider throwing yourself a bash like this.
